After experiencing his own below-knee amputation, Chad was focused on getting his life back. In the process, he realized how valuable a peer advisor would be to meet with individuals going through this most difficult process. That’s when he joined VSA Prosthetics with a passion to help anyone along the way. Chad assists in the fabrication of prostheses, acts as an assistant to our prosthetist, and most importantly spends time with patients to help educate them on their future potential, what to expect, trouble-shooting prosthetic fitting issues, teaching sock and volume management, and encouraging them to succeed in life. Chad also participates in our quarterly Amputee Care Group meetings.
