Dr. Michael Corey MD, FACS, RPVI

Dr. Michael Corey, MD, FACS, RPVI was born and raised in a suburb of Boston, MA. He is the son of a general and vascular surgeon. He joined VSA in 2016. 

He graduated cum laude with a degree in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA where he solidified his interest in surgery. He completed a general surgery residency and vascular surgery research fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN, and was the recipient of the Harwell Wilson Award in surgical excellence. Dr. Corey returned to Boston to complete fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. 

He joined Vascular Surgical Associates in 2016 and has since continued to help us provide compassionate, expert care. Dr. Corey is deeply motivated by his father’s work, which instilled in him the importance of prioritizing the patient and providing his patients excellent care.

In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and fishing.
